World of Cars Sound Book

The World of Cars Sound Book is an interactive book and an electronic game. Thirteen sound buttons guide children through the story as Lightning McQueen finds out what it takes to be a champion race car. For extra playtime fun, children can use the included game board and game pieces to play a game based on the story.

Inspired by the Disney movie Cars, this book is designed for children ages 18 months and older. Children can follow the story as Lightning McQueen journeys to California for the Piston Cup tiebreaker race. Each colorfully illustrated page shows children when to press the sound buttons to bring the story to life. They can hear a police car, beeping horns, revving engines, crash noises, short tunes, and more exciting sounds.

The back cover of the World of Cars Sound Book opens to reveal a game board and game pieces. Each player picks a race-car game piece and places it on the starting line. Each player then takes turns pressing the sound button that matches his or her car. Players move their game pieces around the board according to the number of engine revs they hear. The goal is to pass the finish line, collect tokens, and be the first to enter the Winner s Circle.
