This horror film about Valentine's Day can be excused for excluding Barry White on its soundtrack. The collection is not meant to be heartwarming. It is, essentially, a bloodletting. The lineup is a solid "who's who" of aggressive techno-metal in 2001: Marilyn Manson, Filter, Rob Zombie, Static-X, Deftones, and Orgy lead the way for up-and-coming acts Amanda Ghost and Snake River Conspiracy. Most of these tracks have been released before; however, many are remixed and some are otherwise difficult to come by. The special remix of Static-X's "Love Dump" was previously only available as a 12-inch vinyl single. Rob Zombie's "Superbeast" has been given a "porno holocaust mix."
