From the Label
Dallas Morning NewsLook over There (midwest, 1998) Dallas Jazz ace Rodney Booth mixes standards by Duke Ellington ("I've Got it Bad") and Benny Carter ("When Lights are Low") with promising tunes of his own - the ultra-blue ballad "And Miles to Go" and the brash, finger-poppin' "Snooky-Looky." His whispery vocal style is pleasing enough, but the CD's real lure is his cooler-than-dry-ice trumpet playing., ISBN13:B00000I4LJ ISBN10:B00000I4LJ Material Type:audioCD
