It is a comprehensive trove of tunes, drawn from several Hollywood studios, including MGM, RKO, and Warner Bros. Among the roster's stars: Fred Astaire ("A Foggy Day"), Judy Garland and Mickey Rooney ("I Got Rhythm"), Al Jolson ("Swanee"), Gene Kelly ("Love Is Here to Stay"), and Ginger Rogers ("They All Laughed"). Added are the instrumental talents of Warner Bros. musical director Ray Heindorf ("Overture" from Rhapsody in Blue) and "Fascinating Rhythm" by Tommy Dorsey and His Orchestra (with a piano solo by Rooney!).
