With the help of the Ultimatrix, which allows his alien forms to become bigger and stronger, and pals Gwen and Kevin, Ben attempts to head off the rampaging creatures before Aggregor can claim them for his own, while contending with robot foes ("Video Games"), the Forever Knights ("Duped," "Andreas' Fault"), and Captain Nemesis ("Hero Time"). The new wrinkles introduced to the Ben 10 formula with Ultimate Alien are mostly positive--the Ultimate versions of his alien forms are exciting, and the Aggregor plot line gives the show some dramatic heft and consistency. Making Ben an international celebrity feels a little silly, but most younger viewers probably won't balk at its addition.
